Hash Browns or Home Fries

I just had a thought!!!  Ever wonder why some restaurants serve home fries, but not hashbrowns?  I think they are just plain lazy.  They don't want to get the scraper thing out and scrape the potato to make hash browns.  NO!!  They just cut them into chunks and serve them that way. 

Hash Browns are so much better.  More of the potato gets golden brown and crunchy.  Plain and simple. 

Restaurants that serve home fries instead of real hash browns are lazy, incompetent and a threat to national security. They are dead to me.
