Monday Nights

What good are Monday Nights for?  You usually are burned out because it is your first day back to work after the weekend and you spent the day catching up on work you should have done last week.  I tried to look at the bright side of Monday nights and here is what I came up with (With my comments of course).

Not bad for a Monday night, except when two crappy teams are playing -- Which seems to be happening more and more often.  I can't remember the last time I saw a really good Monday Night Football game.

I know some people who live and die by this show.  I am not a big pro wrestling fan, so I could care less.

I have no idea what this is.  I guess it really is a game.  My question is:  Why would you call a game "Monday Night Combat?"  Anyway, never played it and probably never will.  NEXT...

Monday Night Detention.  I like the name and the poster. They also have a live cover band.  If I lived in Tempe, Arizona this might actually be a good Monday night activity.  Too bad I live in cold Iowa where this is nothing going on Monday nights!!!  Anyway...Note to self - Look for jobs in Arizona :)

Monday Night is Chicken Night?!?!?!  UMMM...SO WHAT?  Seriously Woman's Day Magazine -- What gives you the right to pronounce Monday Night to be Chicken Night?

Luckily, I don't need this...Yet!

There was a total eclipse of the moon on a Monday night a year or two ago in December.  But remember, this is Iowa.  I think it was either cloudy or we were having a blizzard, so I missed it!  :( 



You know what - Just forget it.  Monday nights from now on are going to be my early to bed night. There isn't anything to do (unless I get a job in Tempe, Arizona) so it is going to be lights out at 10 PM for this Blogger.  DAMN!  It is almost my bed time.  Good night everyone!!!
